Commercial Grade Equipment
Load Trail is one of the most trusted names in commercial trailers. This isn't a consumer-grade rental - it's professional equipment built for heavy daily use. The GP series is designed for contractors and businesses who need reliable performance.
MAX Ramps for Easy Loading
Flip-over MAX ramps combined with a 5-foot self-cleaning dovetail make loading equipment smooth and safe. The low-profile deck height reduces the loading angle, making it easier to drive equipment on and off. No struggling with heavy standalone ramps.
24/7 Pickup Availability
Early morning job start? Late night return? We accommodate your schedule with flexible pickup and drop-off times. Many contractors need to pick up equipment before dawn to make it to a job site - we make that possible.
Contractor Rates Available
Regular rental needs? We offer special pricing for contractors, construction companies, landscapers, and businesses with ongoing equipment hauling requirements. The more you rent, the more you save.
Delivery to Your Job Site
Don't have a truck capable of pulling a gooseneck? We can deliver the trailer to your location throughout the Sacramento metro area, Placer County, and surrounding regions.
Maintained & Ready to Work
Every trailer is inspected between rentals. Lights, brakes, tires, ramps, and all safety equipment are checked before each rental. You get equipment that's ready to work - not equipment that creates problems on the job.

When it comes to moving or transporting small and large items, T and D Rentals has the inventory to suit all your trailer needs. We offer enclosed car haulers, open car haulers, full-tilt trailers, dump trailers and utility trailers. Have a low-profile car to haul? No problem, we have you covered! In addition to cars, most of our open and enclosed trailers are set up to haul motorcycles and side-by-side UTV’s. Moving? We have large, enclosed trailers equipped with E-Track for all your moving needs. Most of our trailers come with a winch, ratchet straps, axle straps, spare tire, and E-track rings (if E-track equipped) to make securing items easier.
We offer flexible rental terms to accommodate your schedule. Whether you need a dumpster for a day, a week, or longer, our rental options are designed to meet your specific timeframe and requirements.
With our secure online payment system, you can complete your rental transaction with confidence. We prioritize the safety of your payment information and ensure a seamless and secure booking process for your peace of mind.
As we continue to grow, our goal is to expand our fleet of dumpster to provide a wider selection of options for our customers. We are committed to enhancing our rental service by introducing new trailer models and increasing our inventory to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
You'll need a gooseneck-capable truck with at least a 3/4-ton rating. This includes F-250/F-350, RAM 2500/3500, Silverado/Sierra 2500HD/3500HD, or equivalent. Your truck must have a gooseneck hitch ball installed and a brake controller. The trailer's GVWR is 24,000 lbs, so ensure your truck's towing capacity exceeds this when combined with your load.
The trailer has a GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of 24,000 lbs. The empty trailer weighs approximately 7,000 lbs, giving you a payload capacity of around 17,000 lbs. This is enough for most excavators, skid steers, tractors, and heavy equipment under 8.5 tons.

The trailer comes fully equipped with MAX flip-over ramps, a 5' self-cleaning dovetail, full-width front toolbox, 4 weld-on D-rings, winch plate, stake pockets, pipe stools, 2" rub rail, and all required DOT lighting. You will need to bring your own tie-down straps, chains, and binders appropriate for your load.

Absolutely. We offer 24/7 pickup and drop-off by appointment. Many contractors need to pick up trailers at 5 AM to make it to a job site, or return late in the evening after a long day. Just let us know your schedule when booking and we'll accommodate you.
MAX ramps are heavy-duty flip-over ramps that store on top of the dovetail when not in use. To deploy, you simply flip them over into position. They're wider and stronger than standard ramps, making it easier and safer to load tracked equipment like excavators and skid steers. The self-cleaning dovetail design prevents mud and debris buildup.
You'll need a valid driver's license, proof of insurance for your towing vehicle that covers trailer towing, and a payment method (credit card, debit card, or cash). If renting for a business, we may ask for business documentation. We'll walk you through the process during booking.
Yes, you can take the trailer out of California for your project. Please let us know your travel plans when booking so we can discuss any additional requirements. Extended trips or out-of-state rentals may require additional documentation or deposits.
Call us at (916) 720-1112 before your scheduled return time and we'll extend your rental based on availability. We understand projects don't always go as planned. If you know upfront that you might need extra time, consider booking a weekly rate which provides more flexibility.
No, there is no mileage limit on our trailer rentals. Whether you're hauling equipment across town or across the state, the rental rate remains the same. We just ask that you return the trailer in the same condition you received it.
A gooseneck trailer connects to a ball hitch in the bed of your truck, while a bumper-pull connects to a hitch behind your bumper. Gooseneck trailers offer better stability at higher weights, improved turning radius, and can handle heavier loads. The 30' gooseneck is ideal for commercial hauling because of these advantages. However, you need a gooseneck-compatible truck to tow it.
The deck is 102 inches wide (8 feet 6 inches), which is the maximum legal width for highway travel without permits. This width accommodates most standard construction equipment including full-size skid steers, excavators up to about 10,000 lbs, and tractors. If you're unsure whether your equipment will fit, give us a call with the dimensions and we'll help you determine compatibility.
Yes. Every trailer is inspected between rentals. We check all lights, brakes, tires, ramps, safety chains, coupler, jacks, and structural components. We want you to have equipment that's safe and ready to work, not equipment that causes problems on the road or at your job site.
You are responsible for the trailer during your rental period. Minor wear and tear from normal use is expected. However, damage from accidents, overloading, misuse, or negligence is the renter's responsibility. We recommend checking with your insurance provider about coverage for rented trailers before your rental begins. We can discuss damage waiver options when you book.
