We offer two distinct inverter generators: a 3,500 Starting Watt unit powered by a 6 HP engine and a larger 5,000 Starting Watt unit powered by a 6.7 HP engine. The 6.7 HP model is Dual Fuel capable, while the 6 HP model runs strictly on gasoline.
Propane can only be used with the 6.7 HP Super Quiet Inverter. The 6 HP model is not Dual Fuel compatible and requires gasoline.
Both models require 87+ Octane gasoline. If you are using the 6.7 HP model with propane, ensure you have a standard propane tank and compatible hose.
Both units are designed for quiet operation. The 6 HP model has a sound rating of 56 dBA, and the 6.7 HP model is rated at 61.7 dBA, making them ideal for camping or residential areas where noise is a concern.
Both models provide 120V AC and 12V DC outputs. Additionally, the 6.7 HP model features 5/9/12V USB PD ports, which are perfect for charging modern electronics like laptops and smartphones directly.
The units are relatively similar in weight: the 6 HP model weighs 110.44 lbs, and the 6.7 HP model weighs 110 lbs. We recommend two people for lifting or using a cart for transport.
"Starting Watts" is the extra burst of power needed to start motor-driven appliances (like a fridge or AC), while "Running Watts" (Continuous) is the power used to keep them going.
- 6 HP Model: 3,500 Starting / 3,000 Continuous.
- 6.7 HP Model: 5,000 Starting / 3,900 Gas Running (3,600 Propane Running).
Yes, they are compact. The largest unit (6.7 HP) measures 25" L x 18" W x 21" H, which typically fits in the back of most standard SUVs and truck beds.
Yes. Because these are Inverter Generators, they produce "clean" power that is safe for sensitive electronics like laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
If you just need to power lights and small electronics, the 6 HP (3,500W) model is usually sufficient. If you are running multiple appliances or need the flexibility of propane, the 6.7 HP (5,000W) model is the better choice.
